Revelstoke Ski Resort is one of the snowiest places in the world, sharing more than 3,000 acres of cross-country ski trails, alpine petanque, gently sloping terrain and the highest vertical drop in North America (5,620 feet).
As the days shorten, thoughts turn from warm summer nights to powdery winter days and visions of pleasant evenings by the fire, afterbreweries and a wide range of winter activities in Revelstoke. As snow begins to cover the mountain tops, so does the heart of adventure seekers around the world who discover the experiences available to them here in Revelstoke.
Destination Canada, the second largest country in the world, occupies most of the northern part of North America, covering the vast area of the United States to the south and the Arctic Circle to the north. It is a country of enormous distances and rich natural resources. Forests, dog sleds, lakes, salmon, whales and bears… In Canada we will seek out nature and the great outdoors. Spruce and fir trees line the landscape to the far north, where the summer sun shines, seemingly refusing to set. Here, man bows before nature. In winter, the snow covers the whole country with a white padded blanket. Spring comes, whose sweetness revives the forests. The intense green infuses the landscapes, announcing the carpets of flowers in the mountains. On the coast, killer whales return, sailing with kayaks, while whales cross to Alaska. In the fall, maples and birches set the hills on fire with their incandescent palette. Following in the footsteps of pioneers in Alberta ranches or in the Rocky Mountain National Parks, the encounter with Canada’s Great West will live up to your expectations.
